The Beginning of Light
2020 became my point of reference. It was a time of silence, a pause, and simultaneously – a deep immersion into myself and the world around me. While it seemed that everything outside had ground to a halt, space opened up for inner exploration. That was when I began to take a deeper interest in light—not just as a photographic tool, but as a phenomenon that reveals an alternative reality.

I love photographing flowers, various plants, and nature in general, so that was the start of my dedicated work in macro photography. But over time, that wasn't enough. I wanted to see more, deeper, and differently.
And so, I discovered ultraviolet light.
It wasn't an instant result, but a process of discovery. I experimented with different light sources, studied wavelengths, and tested various approaches, searching for that perfect balance that reveals the hidden.
Then one day, it happened. Spring. The first blooms.
Some of the first photos were of spring snowflakes. In ordinary light, they appear white and delicate, but under ultraviolet, they suddenly "spoke" in a different way—colors emerged, a glow appeared, as if a new dimension had opened within them. What was once invisible to the naked eye became part of the image.
It made a profound impression on me, and that moment became a turning point. I knew I wanted to explore further. I wanted to see how other flowers reacted to ultraviolet, and what hidden structures and colors they held within. Every new shoot became a revelation.
Since then, UV flower photography has been more than just a technique for me—it is my personal research. It is a way to see the invisible, to sense the depth of nature, and to showcase what usually lies beyond our perception.
And this journey of exploration continues...The Beginning of Light
