«Energy of Life» Photo Exhibition. Zhytomyr

17 April, 2026

On April 21, my photo exhibition «Energy of Life» opens in Zhytomyr — and this time, it finds its home in a space dedicated to the Universe.

The Serhiy Pavlovych Korolyov National Museum of Cosmonautics will become a meeting point for two worlds—outer space and nature.

It is about that moment when you look closer and suddenly see infinity.

When the macro world becomes the cosmos.

When light reveals what is usually hidden.

«Energy of Life» is an invitation to experience how the Universe exists not only somewhere far away but right beside us—in every flower, every blade of grass, and every breath of nature.

April 21, 2026, was a special day.

It marked the opening of my «Energy of Life» photo exhibition at the Serhiy Pavlovych Korolyov National Museum of Cosmonautics in Zhytomyr.

It was a day when two cosmoses met – one distant, boundless, and unreachable, and the other close, quiet, and almost invisible, living right alongside us.

My work is an attempt to show you the energy of life where it usually goes unnoticed. It was especially meaningful to see how each of you found something personal within these images.

The atmosphere was incredibly warm and vibrant – sincere conversations, smiles, curious gazes, and a sense of unity through art.

I would like to express my special gratitude to Vyacheslav Mishchenko for his help in organizing the exhibition, his support, and his personal presence at the opening.

Thank you to the Chairman of the Zhytomyr Union of Photographers, Leonid Shevchuk, for the invitation to join the community – it is a great honor for me.

A special thank you to the museum team – Darina Voloshchuk, Tetiana Havrylova, and Valerii Khimich – for their professional organization, support, and for providing a space that perfectly complemented the exhibition's concept. And a very special thank you to Andriy Andriyovych!

Thank you to Ihor Shurpan for the feedback.

Thank you, Oleh Rostkovskyi.

Also, thank you, Serhii Zhukovskyi.

Thank you all for your kind words, your reviews, and to everyone who was there.

This day served as another reminder: sometimes, to feel the cosmos, you don’t need to look at the sky – you just need to look closer.

Author of the exhibition, photographer, and researcher, Liubov Kartashova.
